Dinner And A Three-year-old
We seem to have funny conversations over dinner, although not exclusively, but last night was no exception. Scott asked Braden what he wanted to be when he grew up. He started out saying, "oh, I'm gonna play all the sports, like...", then he paused. He asked, "which sports don't have mascots?" (Yes, the kid is still scared of mascots!) Evidently this is the criteria he will use in determining his life's ambition. We finally got around to golf not having mascots, so I guess that's settled!
Then, out of the blue, Braden asks, "why was I in Mommy's tummy?". Scott starts explaining that that's how God allows babies to grow. Then he goes on to tell him that he (Scott) was in Grandma's tummy before he was born and Mommy was in Grammy's tummy before she was born. Braden doesn't miss a beat and says, "wuhl, next I'm gonna be in Grandpa's tummy!". Poor kid asks us all the time, "why are you laughing?".

Fall Festival Fun
The kids had a ball at the church's Fall Festival.
When we got out of the car, Braden said, "I want to pway hockey first!". (Guess what we did first...)
While Braden played hockey, Ellison tried the cake-walk...er...stroll. Thanks for the assist, Ms. Robbie!

World of Braden (and Ellison)
Braden's world is full of new and exciting things on a daily basis, especially now that baby sister has arrived.
